A MESSAGE FROM THE SVP/GM: STEVE SIMPSON

The Los Angeles Angels have a 16-game lead in the American League Western Division. The Angels' march towards post-season dominance seems promising, and the recent addition of first baseman Mark Teixeira combined with John Lackey’s solid pitching make every Angels game now through September on FSN WEST destination viewing.

As the Los Angeles Dodgers 50th Anniversary season rounds third base and heads home, the team continues to keep True Blue fans on the edge of their seats. The Dodgers are 3.0 games behind the NL West division leading Arizona Diamondbacks as they return home for a six-game, seven-day homestand with San Diego and Arizona. Tune in to FSN PRIME TICKET and don’t miss a second of the nail-biting action of these series on FSN PRIME TICKET.

Local sports fans continue to have Olympic fever. On Monday, “Lexus Gauntlet Live” debuted on FSN PRIME TICKET and began its coverage of 2008 USC and UCLA athletics with a discussion of the current and past-Olympians who trained at both schools. Tomorrow, the Los Angeles Sparks resume the WNBA season tomorrow, hosting the Sacramento Monarchs at 7:30 PM on FSN PRIME TICKET. Tune-in to witness the homecoming of Olympic gold medalists and teammates Lisa Leslie, DeLisha Milton-Jones and Candace Parker.

Last but not least, Fall is upon us. And that means football! College Football Saturday gets underway on FSN WEST on August 30 at 12 PM. Oklahoma State vs. Washington State kicks-off at 12:30 and “Trojans Live” pre-game coverage of USC at Virginia begins at 4 PM.

This is an exciting time for local sports and we hope you’ll join us for every minute!
